Is this an escorted trip?
Yes, it is. This Tour will be hosted by Ann-Sofie Allen, who has lived in the country for a long time as the head of Titleist Austria. She will make sure that you will have an incredible and highly memorable time.
Is this a trip designed for ladies only?
No, while the majority of participants will be ladies, we welcome your spouses, boy friends and families as well. I do not encourage you to bring your kids if they are less than 16 years old. This specific escorted tour, however, is not particularly designed for young kids and therefore we can´t do justice to all of their preferences and exceed their expectations on this Adventure.
I am not a very good golfer, can I still attend?
Yes, as long as you know the golf etiquette and have some experience in playing 18-holes golf courses.
Is there an option for non-golfing partners?
Yes, there is. Non-golfing partners immerse themselves in mored memorable cultural, authentic and culinary experiences while golfers are on the golf course. In addition, we invite non-golfers to some relaxing and rejuvinating Spa Treatments. Value and price are the same for both golfers and non-golfing partners.
Are flights included? If not, what´s the best flight option?
No, flights are not included in this package as requirements are so different for each participant. Fly into Graz (GRZ) and fly out of Salzburg (SZG). The very best routing is either via Frankfurt (FRA) or Munich (MUC) or Vienna (VIE) on the Star Alliance Carriers United / Lufthansa / Austrian Airlines from any major airport in the US. There are many options each day and flights typically depart in the afternoon from the US and get into Austria the following morning! It´s an easy connection and convenient flight.
If you do need assistance, please let us know and my Team will be happy to advise you on the option that´s best for you. Please do not have your tickets issued before having talked to the Elite Team.
Do I need to bring my golf clubs?
We have an excellent relationship with golf stores in Austria and can arrange rental clubs for your convenience. Rental Clubs are a lot less expensive in Austria than in the USA and are a viable alternative. Contact us for more details.
When do I need to pay for the tour?
A deposit of $500.00 is due to secure your spot. The balance is due 60 days prior to your date of travel.
Can I book the 7-day Vienna & Salzburg tour (without the Graz part?)
Yes, there is the option to join the tour for Vienna & Salzburg only, please reach out to us for more details.
Two Unique Extension Tours have been mentioned. But there are no details anywhere!
Yes, you will have two options - Innsbruck and Seefeld in Tyrol. You can go for one or for both extension tours! You can choose to attend the escorted 4-day one to Innsbruck which will wow you with a variety of experiences - golf, nature, culture, traditions and charm. Alternatively, you can head to one of an award-winning luxury Spa retreat - with private shuttles to two golf courses - in and enjoy the world-famous SACHER experience at an altitude of nearly 4,000 feet.
For the ultimate treat you attend the escorted Innsbruck Tour before staying a few extra days at the SACHER in Seefeld. (which is just 25 min from Innsbruck). I love the Sacher so much myself that I will most likely even enjoy a few extra days there on my own as well. No matter whether your Austria Adventure ends in Salzburg, Innsbruck or Seefeld, you will depart from Munich airport and we will get you there hassle free.
